There's always a challenge associated with maintaining a world-leading #GONZOBLOG. One of the problems is producing enough "product" to post everyday, particularly with the GONZOLECTURE which sees hundreds of people using it as their daily newspaper. Thank you, by the way.
One if the huge difficulties for GL now is the amount of time it takes to manage the media support as well as finding a way to pay for it. This is a shame that it cannot yet be considered a self supporting, not for profit enterprise, even though a good number of people associated with it have made good gains as a result if being associated with it. Sorry to sound like I'm complaining again, but I'm just being open.
When we run a blog without spammy, pay per click advertising and refuse the vast number of sponsored blogging requests to push merchandise to our readership, then one hopes that the "donate" will instead be used.
When one considers the fairly useless product produced by subscription based publications one wonders whether there are ways to get readers to support the work here. Without proper support, we cannot get freed up to get the gonzo word out there.
#HunterSThompson is gone and though his work remains, the cause of gonzo in our corrupt, pig - dominated societies remains paramount to the freedom & self determination of people worldwide.
So now the production of publications for purchase is required that we might enter into, and maintain, this next phase of the development of the #tgltag #community.
The first thought was a book of collected #tgltag #poetry. The 2nd is the final polishing of the Outlaw Academic novel.
Problem is as over 40k of you follow these developments, the nightly webchats continue on twitter AND increasing corporate attacks take place against our writers because we write about things suited idiots are afraid for people to even think, time is always against us.
Please support our work in the #tgltag #community :
