There is so much depth of thought from ordinary people (as our "betters" might label us), who are reflecting on their lives & their experiences to commonly conclude something collectively along the following lines:
- they are disadvantaged by the present systems
- the problems of the present systems are based in the old ways of thinking about economic, social and other inequalities
- the "ruling" classes do so by default because there is no collective resistance to their promotion of their own interests above those of the rest of us.
- the function of the oppressed is not to make wealth for their oppressors.
- freedom of thought & expression is only permitted if it maintains the present, unjust status quo.
Education is intended to liberate the hearts & minds of people in order to establish for themselves the optimal path for themselves & their lives. However, the present system of elitist, for-profit higher education run by the rich for their own children will widen these inequalities & with them their social injustices.
As a result, the privileged will continue to benefit and the rest will be left behind by default.
It is therefore the responsibility of those who can & want to change the direction of this destructive tide for the majority to mobilise against it by forming collective communities.
This is that for which #tgltag is intended.
We'd all be interested in your thoughts.
