Anarchy in practice?

I'm vaguely familiar with some theories of power & originally thought I'd found a group of university "academics" who were on some sort of genuine path to truth, like myself. Imagine the disappointment when I found their seeking was hijacked by the politics of job security & fame.

I'm never talking in these contexts about finding THE TRUTH, but probably vague notions of utopia, or at least a place where an individual has control over his work, or himself, without having to take shit from some system-driven pinhead, determined to assert himself over others.

I read at some point about Mikhail Bakunin, the Russian anarchist, who reportedly read the Bible every day, much to the derision of that middle class, sponging ponce Karl Marx, who, though Bakunin's contemporary, never saw eye to eye with him.

From the little I can gather, Mikhail Bakunin was a collectivist, never exalting himself over anybody else, and declared that even God Almighty only sought our willing cooperation with His purpose, never seeking to dominate us.

There seems to be a trend again towards fragmented, localised societies, where inhabitants self determine, for the local benefit. I'm not sure how this works in a society like mine, in which a man will park his car on a double yellow line because he knows the government to whom he pays his taxes won't fund a police officer to come & move him.

In the meantime, there are crackpots hiking naked past schools because their feeble grasp of the collective good suggests society hasn't found a rational way to stop them. The lawmakers spend much time making up adhoc laws to regulate the obvious and holding lengthy enquiries to say sorry for things we knew at the time passed unaddressed, blaming mostly the dead for actions that stem from sickness we all know is in all of mankind.

My conclusion to all this is that there is no solution within mankind, other than we live by the virtues God gave us. That would be a start. I think for that, maybe we need God Himself.
