of things to say
I'd wish to God,
They'd go away
And I could watch
The things I say,
The Devil'd let me be
While I make history
Losing all
that once I'd made
That I would watch it,
fall away,
As I forsook,
this brand new day,
My own worst enemy
The one, whom I,
can never see.
As I reflect,
on things to come,
And men decide
to censor me,
As I abide
to earn my fee
I linger on,
the things, I see.
Keep me here,
Keep me sharp,
Open up,
my burning heart,
That I could rest,
Myself, impart,
I'm severed,
From the womb.
My friends,
Whom, I leave,
Who let me
Say what I believe
Inward thoughts
Myself, reveal,
My ramblings,
From my tomb.
