The long silence,
Violent in its death-control,
Rolling down the cavern, dark,
That always takes away, again.
As men with hearts as empty,
As they always were,
Without the light,
Disaster now, but quick, we hope.
Better learn to hunt our food,
The rude & shackled, starving too,
Doing what we're made to do.
