Angela #Merkel, the last up holder of liberal eurovalues, leading the international country of the Ubermensche, who can teach all how to live better and more virtuous lives, has now banned the Muslim face veil.

This has been to curry favour with the voters, in fear she's about to get a taste of #Brexit fire, #Trump fuck you, or #italian NO from the German electorate.

This shows the weakness of liberalism in Europe - in the UK it was all destroyed by turncoat #clegg betraying the ideals of his own @LibDems party in his desperate deal with the devil to grasp power in government at absolutely any price - most markedly in his betrayal of UK students on fees & the working class of Britain by his support of punitive austerity which demanded the poorest paid for the dishonest incompetence of the richest bankers.

Now we see a similar beginning to the backsliding of #merkel in the face of growing discontentment amongst German voters, pissed off with free-for-all immigration to people who can't even be vetted effectively. This hasn't been helped by cases such as the immigrant around whom Germany threw its protective arm, who then went round stabbing people randomly on a German train, before giving #ISIS all the glory.

This burka ban is nothing to anybody, probably not even Muslims, who likely can just keep their more toned-down headgear & go about their business.

It does allow her a symbol to point at, just as evidence to claim that she's not just a blind "everybody-lover" at the expense of German way of life & culture, but that she can make a stand against something nobody at all really cares about.
