I like to survey the time lines of the Left - an identity I hitherto, not only felt comfortable embracing, but also would have felt obligated to fight for, on behalf of those who also felt burdened to see the achievement of international social justice.
I was perusing the twitter feed of Christiane Amanpour, a #CNN journalist I've respected for decades, who now seems to have dedicated herself to resisting the next President of the United States, Donald Trump.
Fearful of attacks by Trump on press freedoms, she's anxious that her profession remains united against what might be resulting legislation against the media that Trump has designated as enemies.
