The Situation

It's got quite bad lately. I overheard a colleague at a recent graduation tell a couple he was going to "smoke weed and watch TV" when they asked him what his plans were for the summer.

Another colleague apparently told a disciplinary panel that he sat down with a group of female students before remarking, old-fashionedly "so you've got to be really hot to join this group then..."

The following came from my investigations for my research into the early event dresscodes of the Kurgon peoples of the Ural Steps. It involves a discussion of the proper market orientation for service providers.

Apparently, this lecturer suggested that the attitude of many service providers mirrors that "of a badge I once had, which read 'Do you want a fuck?...' Quiet laughter ensued, so he continued 'if not, would you mind lying down while I have one?'

Little laughter was the response. Hardly worth the inevitable trip to the Dean's office.

Cutoff

"Options!" The familiar order was barked across the bridge floor for the seventh time that morning.

"Cut him off, Captain," everybody knew that Commander Krill's predictable response had only been stated for the record.

"Your attention to protocol is admirable, Commander," Captain Daystar wasn't smiling at his first officer. "Let's see if we can't think more outside the box on this one," he said slowly as his gaze rested on the main screen once again. "How's feed flow in relation to forecast, Lieutenant Buttercup?"

"Optimal Captain. Though the Olympic Games are likely to frack things up the same way they did with Beijing."

"We've got desktop computers though, so we're not basing this just on mobile phone traffic" added the Captain "something they never managed there."

"But this user has retweeted almost ever author in the Twittersphere, just this morning," Lieutenant Buttercup appeared flustered, as if she had a personal objective intertwined with what was usually routine debate. "And we know, he's a real pig with women."

One by one, the other bridge officers slowly nodded their agreement.

"As science officer, I concur. The user is tweeting links so fast, he cannot possibly be reading them all. Also, he's used abusive language already in two separate incidents just this morning."

"Very well Ms Gelegenheit," the captain conceded "...let's cut the bastard off. Block @thegonzolecture for a period of least a fortnight."
