It is we who are doing it to one another

Before the collective nuremberg defense resumes, we need to clarify who the guilty parties are.

Those who seek to wear uniforms are the most obviously the ones with the weakest identities & self-image. They over compensate by wielding their power over others.

Those without uniforms attempt to wield the threat of consequences to our non-compliance with the requirements of the policies they uphold in their roles. Such a state of affairs means we rule over each other as equals on behalf of those to whom we consent in this modern capitalist arrangement.

Refusal to rule over others on behalf of our rulers risks our own rejection & exile from the arrangement. This may cause us more hardship than we can bear.

The big lie...

The big lie - you're beneath them.

Earn your place in our world - there are a number of packages available - all of which require huge payments (from now on, referred to as "personal investment") - personal investments can be procured through a variety of credit plans, which we also provide, as long as you qualify - and we'll decide if you qualify.

Personal investment will also require total dedication, because we don't give accreditations to Our World away just to anyone - you have to convince us you're worth it - even worth our time to even evaluate your worth. But this all comes as part of the service you pay for.

Did I make a mistake?

A rather slimy-looking gentleman knocked on my front door just now.

Dark and unshaven he looked as if he might perhaps be the descendant of a rat.

Hunched over, he waved a photocopied leaflet under my nose, spoke really fast and then I realised he wanted my telephone number so he could call me in an unsolicited manner to sell me his home improvements service.

As soon as his lips appeared to be momentarily abating their movement, I said softly "I have to go."

"What does that mean?" He stared at me blankly. "Yes, or no?"

"No."

He was already as far as my land border, with his back to me, when he loudly muttered "should have bloody said that then."

"I beg your pardon?" I demanded.

"Well," he swivelled to face me, "you should've told me straight away instead of showing lots of interest."

"Oh..." I moved towards him, "I'm sorry, I'll remember that for next time. I was trying to be polite."

"Should've told me to fuck off."

I silently closed the door. Perusing the mechanics of his error, I realised he'd burned his bridges with me. This is a technical fault. On the other hand, I don't think I'd hire him anyway.

This encounter filled me with gratitude. I felt quite sorry for that man.
