I've just been reading a job advertisement for a Research Fellow - with it being highly desirable that they hold a doctorate degree, yet only offering £24,520 - £29,249 per annum.
I'm wondering:
1. If someone's not taking the piss. Perhaps they'll see if somebody's going to bite the hook complete with small worm.
2. Whether Research Fellows aren't actually what I thought they were, all these years.
3. There's some 12 year-old savant who doesn't need much money, but has superior research skills.
4. There's a huge number of out-of-work Research Fellows.
5. There was. 5th but daylight's a burnin, as they say...

Hi Charles,well we're told that we live in a "global economy" and we are suppose to be in competition with those earning a few pounds per day, yet I must wonder how much the administrator's are earning? We are paying a football coach almost $300 grand per month to buy out his contract at Auburn University,apparently sports administrators earn a pretty penny.
We have often been told that money goes where it is treated best, which is why so many companies offshore the work. Yet somehow those CEO's never seem to be making less money and somehow the money seems to be flowing to the top instead of the bottom,for now.
If you take a look at the money flows though money is being repatriated back to safe areas,areas that have high taxes even. It would seem that money doesn't go where it is treated best but where it is safest.
One must wonder how many other lies we are suppose to swallow hook, line and sinker?
