The Prolongated Pearl of Doom

The Prolongated Pearl of Doom
Will come to visit, here, real soon,
We don't just what we'll do,
To change the path of history,
The old way, things have got to be,
Never made much sense to me.

I could've been, we talked at length,
Those hours of oneness, that we spent,
The whole, co-souled, and then it went,
And I'll be faced with accusations
That I killed off all the good sensations,
Had ideas then, above my station.

As I was the minotaur,
The offscoured scum, the worthless whore,
Much worse than I had felt, before.
But, NO, will always be my cry,
As I prepare, adjust, to die,
And noone asks, or wonders why.

He was once good, they'll all surmise,
He was a hood, he was so wise,
Misunderstood, but each man dies.
He was once, to us, just all he was,
He touched us, somewhere deep, because,
Our gain, was just his loss.

He gave himself, to us, was ours,
And we enjoyed him, hours and hours,
He shared with us, his healing powers.
Took us, from our broken place,
Fixed us with his smiling face,
Warmed us, with his soft embrace.

And the the change of lives became,
An end to all, that felt the same,
We took for granted, even blamed,
Yet, he knew, that his heart just loved,
Never trusted, but just loved,
Always hurting, always loved.
