Moments of truth,
That came and passed.
Moments of unrefutable
proof, that could never last.
Just a noise, never-ending,
That ended.
Blending into normal,
Bending time, and breaking convention, was never going to be the heart-stopping invention.
Like anything man promised to be.

Kill the forests to save the seas,
Our best thinking
Leaves us lost
Tossed around
by waves of doubt
The screams, the shouts, of being right
Won't save us
From this endless night,
But there is One,
Who in our hearts,
Can shine on us,
And light, imparts.
