I've noticed, how much people seem to fall out with each other - particularly in the creative world(s), where there must be so many egos & drives & fear of being sidelined, or I don't know.
I'm astounded, in this regard, about #SteveJobs in the recent #SteveJobsMovie - the one with #michaelfassbender - which I've only just seen. This a few months after #ashtonkutcher & his excellent portrayal - in my opinion - of #Jobs in the #JobsMovie
I will never forget the clip of the development meeting, when Jobs fires that programmer...
Quite a good piece on that performance, here
I mention these 2 films because it seems to me, they make a pair, and both, in a sense, show 2 sides of the same coin?
The Fassbender Jobs is almost the mind-will leader, as well as the Sacrificor of other things, to be the man he clearly was.
I'm not usually a huge fan of #DannyBoyle movies, tbh - nothing against the guy, or anything, & did predict doom over #London2012 but his design of the opening ceremony, in particular, was quite superb in many places, and set the tone, perfectly.
It must, therefore also, have a great deal to do with the film's dialogue, which must contrive some benefit from having emanated from the keyboard of #AaronSorkin who's written WestWing, Newsroom and that Facebook movie the #socialnetwork which was even better, obviously, because it was directed by #DavidFincher who is one of my total favourite Directors of all time, mainly for one of my all time favourite movies, #FightClub, which i should talk more about with you, as well, shortly. Fabulous ChuckP - and if you wanna getta shoutout, then getta betta name!
