BBC Breakfast presenter Susanne Reid continues to be the smartest person by far on the sofa this morning (Thursday, 23 Feb)...interesting to see her engage at every level and beyond with the "gurus" of the fashion industry only to be traditionally "slapped down" by the macho, open-legged simpleton from the GQ posers rag. Charlie "Dumb as a Rock" Stayt asked the GQ editor Dylan Jones whether we'd be seeing him in red trousers anytime soon. The bald, overdressed, poser answered "who's askin?"in reference to Charlie's voluptuous co-presenter Susanne Reid, who had coldly withdrawn by that point.
This was shocking and distasteful, but well-handled by her. Shame we never seem to be able to gravitate beyond the silly, sexist norms of yesteryear in our backward, "developed", "society".
If anybody would like to have any of the above corrected, or even to discuss possible legal action, please do let me know...
