Plane Stupid have shown themselves to be just plain stupid

The activists that have occupied part of Stanstead Airport runway today (Monday 8 December) have demonstrated the most stupid and ignorant approach to making their point. Sure, they grasped a little free publicity for their cause and got their ridiculous name out there, but they are making an important point in totally the wrong way by upsetting people who were probably not much aware of their cause. They are now though after planes have been unable to take off and land for hours, and they don't like it. This is a violation of basic PR principles. Stupid.
