The power of #British #Brexit #legal #hypocrisy

The outgoing "President" of the UK supreme court makes a parting shot today at the government, saying that his judges, responsible for ruling against the government's approach to #Brexit, & thus branded by UK #MSM as "enemies of the people" (Daily Mail) were not defended quickly enough, thus challenging the rule of law as a bedrock of British society.

It's a bizarre feature of the UK social system that the elite, who've assumed they rule us, whilst we fund their capitalist regime, gain our acquiescence to our own financial & even physical destruction via these sorts of hypocritical deceits.

America, also under the law & therefore a country of law & legal enforcement, affords its citizens amendments to its constitution as legal rights. The first of such amendments entitles all US inhabitants the right to freedom of speech, regardless of how odious that speech might be.

Britain, technically doesn't have a constitution at all, although I'm assured by legal specialists in my office that there is a constitution "somewhere" embodied in British law, if you splice bits of it together.

What is bullshit, is the Great British middle class's insistence of the objectivity of public officials in their ability to somehow put aside their personal feelings about everything whilst considering such cases only on the basis of the "facts" of each case.

At the same time, there are calls for better diversity to be demonstrated in the appointees to this highest court in the land. Currently there's only one, white woman & the rest are all white men. One spokesman on that vile tool of British social conditioning, the #BBC #bbcnews #l @BBCr4today programme suggested this narrowness meant that such white, middle class, predominantly male judges were incapable of understanding the social backgrounds and situations of their much more diverse subjects in the cases they presided over. Clearly, there's no need for me to also explain the much higher ratio of UK black to white "criminals" that have their cases considered by the UK supreme court.

The reasons for this contradiction are beyond you and me, the "normal" people of the country, who go about our business, working our arses off in shitty jobs, to buy crap we don't need, if we're lucky not to just be trying to keep our stupid, undereducated heads above the rising tide of debt, on which our wonderful society is built.

In answer to the question by the @BBCr4today journotard, the judgetard strongly protested at the suggestion that the UK supreme court appointees should be subjected to the same kind of governmental, public scrutiny they do in the US circus. The white man judgetard simply said he was happy that legal deliberations were made by his judge colleagues without any knowledge on his part of their personal political affiliations.

Of course, many social scientists have declared, for over a century, that there's no such thing as pure objectivity in any human decision making - that, as those calling for more diversity on our courts' benches exclaim, human beings' judgements will always be coloured by subjectivity. That's the main reason research students are always told that it's never objectivity, but validity that must be fought for.

"Politics is not a game"

Because the US electorate has decided to signal the end of the Washington bullshit they clearly despise, all those fearful political job-types, who don't really work for a living, will now need to look for a job, elsewhere.

I remember the first thing #TheresaMayPM said to her new cabinet was "politics is *not* a game."

This alluded to all the people to whom she'd just said goodbye - particularly the disgraced, resigned prime minister #DavidCameron, who had taken the fall for such a miscalculation of the voters' contempt for the private school boys' mutual self appreciation society that had been masquerading for the British #ukgov for quite some time.

#TheresaMayPM also fired the more-maligned #GeorgeOsborne, richboy untouchable, who probably had justifiably considered himself ripe to be the next #conservativeparty #ConservativeLeadership until he was sent packing, to the applause of the masses.

Osborne's fanatical approach to austerity had punished the British working class beyond what they could comfortably take.

Osborne's lack of touch & contempt for the masses can be disguised in the prosperous times, when those who don't have, also have only themselves to blame.

However, when the banks trade in a vaguely restricted fashion for decades (admittedly, partly under the Blair #Labour #ukgov) & flood the economy with toxic debt nobody intends to repay, Osborne passes the consequences, blame AND responsibility for the shortfall back onto working people.

It was a classic miscalculation by a spoiled rich kid, hellbent on carving a reputation & a career in politics for being a no nonsense Chancellor. The people, in return, accustomed to being told what to think & do by the #ukgov got ready to keep sucking it up at the behest of their betters, whilst bitterly complaining among themselves.

That was the case until the #EUref suddenly appeared - representing what many saw as a chance to protest at the ballot box, and maybe even change the country for the better.

So, we did.

#Trump #Brexit +++

Weird listening to @BBCRadio4
suggesting #TheresaMayPM needs #LiamFox to get #nigelfarage involved with #trump because #ukgov doesn't know how to speak to him.

I said in 1st thing Wednesday #GonzoLecture that #Trump #election2016 result will bode well for UK trade. Seems the UK currency agrees too as it's the first time it's looked decent since #Brexit.

What isn't clear is whether the #Democrats have any sort of future - it's all down to whether they plan to learn from this election, rather than blaming everybody else for their recent & unexpected fall.

The parallels with #Brexit are uncanny - making me feel it's all part of a bigger picture to end democracy, undermine global government, strengthen Israel, alienate Muslims, & generally lead to the destruction of both the material & religious babylons. I know some of my readers just switched off.

We're more than on the road to somewhere. I think, we need these things to happen. I'm not looking forward to the impending grinder. God save us.

GonzoPepys : My #Brexit & Trump

The link between #Trump & #Brexit is that neither side is thinking about the other, because they're eyeing one another as the problem, rather than as fellow Americans.

I watched Trump’s lawyer on CNN , looking like the cross between one of "everything must go" Cliché American car sales ads and somebody that just might break your nose if you got too close to him.

I remember living in Switzerland & only having CNN for an English speaking news channel & going through 9/11 with them. They were always respectful.

A poem to #VoteRemainTards

Dear friends & neighbours,
Stupid arseholes,
Who've walked in shameful
Lands of dreams,
Where you have taken,
Stolen, hoarded,
Pissed on us, as if we're stupid,
Handled us, talked down, to us.
Smiled and mused,
as if you're worthy,
Grown & sturdy, passing off,
Yourself as leaders,
And all our problems,
Needing to learn,
Our rightful place.
Keep thinking about
Your stocks & shares
And what you did,
or gave, or paid,
Look at it, this game you played,
Forgetting who you think you are.
Consider what we're saying now:
We stand & labour,
Shivering in cold & effort
As we earn, your just return,
Because you provide.
But now, just look - it's over
Silent revolution,
In which, finally,
You cease to be.

The #Brexit Poets & #Brexitpoetry

To think we'd end our days
As deluded, disappointed,
#Brexit poets...
Broken pages of the country
We used to feel, we fitted into,
Until everybody, had a rethink,
Where men can kill at will,
And argue, they had no other choice, provided.
We want action, we want decisions,
Or we'll deride your lack of vision,
You need to trust the system,
Moreso, you need to trust our wisdom,
As we give it all away.

The #Brexit shatter

As the #Brexit shatter,
Reaches beneath our feet,
We confront, and know,
That we aren't complete.
They start wonder,
If they can even ask,
And now they're asking,
They've become a mass,
And now they're wanting,
To take you to task.
It's the new, post-brexit way.

The next generation...

The world went mad last Friday... People almost running around waving their hands in the air as if the sky was falling in.

Wasn't at all like the morning Obama was elected & I was the only one wandering around the cold grey stone buildings, bemoaning the stupidity of people I'd always credited to be intelligent & had been mistaken to assume had wanted the same things I wanted. Betrayed on all fronts, I stared at their glazed eyes & euphoric grins as they slapped the world on the back at being able to squeeze out a ripe, brown-coloured president.

Like pink, racist little boys, we cried "but he's only changed the colour of his skin! It's just the colour of his skin, changed!"

If you mentioned the obvious, people looked at you, as if you were the problem. 'But I've read his biography. Have you?" one asked. I hadn't. I didn't really care.

Somebody contacted me on Facebook -the graduate of yesteryear told me, bluntly 'my shares dropped.' I bided my time, waiting for the lash-out.

I'd gone into uni elated, rubbing my hands at the thought of eating my breakfast as I watched Cameron finally resign.

Panama was an insult, now it was time to set the thing straight & begin restoration of the world we could still have, the one in which respect wasn't neither way, where fear was a form of communication upward.

I'd always said, it was the people who ultimately decided - that's the way it has to be.

I'd always been on the losing side of reason. I watched Thatcher & then Blair, now the ConDems & then the Tories, bullshit their way through year after year, thinking they could do whatever they please & the people were too stupid to do anything other than pontificate collectively on whatever the media told them was the stuff they should be talking about. Discuss, outrage, rant, move on, repeat - the British way.

The Scots use whatever the loudestmouths can get them another crack at an independence referendum. Even Sturgeon of the SNP didn't want another one so soon - mainly as it's still possible she wouldn't see a win then, either.

Sinn Fein wants Northern Ireland back too, just because they might as well have a punt at their wishlist while the world's in the process of tipping tits-up. Have a go, now it seems all bets are off & everything's up for grabs.

These are the usual things - the ones we stick around for. The scam of the last century was over. It was time to think together how we want to proceed.

The times ahead would be tough & we need to be reminded that we needed the EU a lot less than they needed us.
